Signify has registered its manufacturing units, including assembly lines in the Kingdom, with the Made in Saudi initiative. Signify offers a comprehensive variety of tailor-made, high-quality, and energy-efficient lighting solutions throughout the Middle East, with innovation at the heart of its operations worldwide. Made in Saudi Arabia is one of the projects established by the Kingdom’s National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) to assist and fulfil the Vision 2030 goals.
Since its inception in 1979 as a specialised local manufacturer, one of the company’s main goals has been to continue working closely with Saudi government bodies to develop high-quality energy-efficient lighting products that meet the latest international and local standards and are suitable for all public and professional spaces. As part of its worldwide vision, the company continues to embrace and improve diversity and inclusion principles across its offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To keep the momentum going in the Kingdom, Signify established a factory in 2002 that is entirely run and managed by Saudi women. The factory has been praised as one of the greatest locations for women to work in the kingdom, and Signify has been recognised as a leader in employing and promoting women in Saudi Arabia on several occasions.

Khairallah, CEO of Signify’s operation in Saudi Arabia.
He also said, “Each year, the majority of our locally manufactured products are sold within the country and, we are proud to have joined the Made in Saudi program. We believe that our local operations help the Kingdom in achieving its vision to establish Saudi Arabia as an industrial powerhouse.”
Since 2017, Signify has been recognised as an industry leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for three years in a row. As part of its Brighter Lives, Better World sustainability programme, the company declared that it will achieve carbon neutrality for all of its activities in September 2020.
Signify is a certified Energy Savings Company because its production facilities produce energy-efficient products and lab tests are completed locally to fulfil local and international standards. Signify Saudi Arabia was one of the Middle East’s global marketplaces to attain carbon neutrality in 2016. Signify, which is dedicated to unlocking the remarkable potential of light for brighter lives and a better world, also focuses on health and wellbeing through its UVC lighting sector, which effectively disinfects homes and workplace environments from viruses and bacteria.
The company has executed a number of important projects in a variety of industries, including lighting installation in Riyadh’s premium Kingdom Tower, the Ministry of Interiors, the Millennium Hotel in Hail, and many others.
