Sitecore announced the appointment of its new Regional Vice President, Goncalo Mateus, at the CX Live event in Dubai.
Commenting on the appointment, Mohammed Al-Khotani, Area Vice President – Middle East and Africa, Sitecore said: “I am pleased to congratulate Goncalo Mateus on his new role as the Regional Vice President and am confident that he can be a driving force to further strengthen Sitecore’s presence in the region.”

The Middle East market has seen a reorganization of the marketing stack over the past year with an emphasis on personalized customer experiences, thanks to a massive shift toward e-commerce and hybrid retail models.”
Mateus comes to Sitecore with over ten years of expertise in the martech and adtech space, including leadership roles at one of the world’s top software solutions companies. In a special session, Mateus also spoke on a panel at CX Live about how digital hubs can alter customer journeys and retain customers through smart communication methods.
Sitecore was a Silver Sponsor at the two-day event, which took place on November 15th and 16th, 2021, and featured the brand’s strengths and capacities in customer experience management and marketing software. Various sessions about CX and Digital Transformation, changes in workplace culture, and Design thining were also held at the event.
