Snapchat Launches AR “Kingdom’s Lenscape” for Saudi National Day

As Saudi Arabia gears up for its 94th National Day, Snapchat is set to amplify the festivities with its new augmented reality (AR) campaign, Kingdom’s Lenscape. This innovative campaign, running for 10 days, captures the essence of unity and national pride with two distinct AR experiences: FAKHAR and KARAM.

Kingdom’s Lenscape is designed to connect Snapchatters with top brands through interactive AR solutions. The campaign features two main components:

FAKHAR: This experience invites users to explore virtual landscapes showcasing brands’ contributions to the Kingdom’s development. Featuring prominent brands like The Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB), Laverne, and Alwaleed Philanthropies, FAKHAR offers immersive digital exhibits that highlight each brand’s unique story and impact. A GenAI-inspired Lens allows users to visualize the future of these brands, creating an engaging and forward-looking experience.

KARAM: Reflecting the spirit of generosity and national pride, KARAM transforms users’ surroundings into a vibrant digital marketplace. Partnering with brands such as Ounass, Huda Beauty, NiceOne, Shahid, Spotify, Alwazn Almithaly, and Zyros, Snapchat provides exclusive offers and limited-edition products. Users can browse hero products in real-time, easily transitioning to brand websites and apps for seamless shopping experiences.
