Sophos introduced the Sophos Switch Series, which includes a variety of network access layer switches for connecting, powering, and controlling device access within a LAN (LAN). Sophos’ secure access portfolio now comprises Sophos Firewall and Sophos Wireless, in addition to the new solution.
“Sophos Switch seamlessly integrates with the Sophos adaptive cybersecurity ecosystem to extendconnectivity across office LANs,” said Joe Levy, chief technology officer at Sophos.
He added, “We’re removing the complexities of multi-vendor deployments by providing organizations and channel partners with a single source of management, monitoring and troubleshooting.”
The cloud-based Sophos Central platform is used to manage switches remotely. This gives partners a single, easy-to-use interface to manage all customer installations, respond to alarms, and track licences and future renewal dates.

We were already very successful with Sophos Firewall, and thanks to Sophos Switch we are now able to unleash the full power of Sophos’ products and services.
