We believe that surgical robotics offers this enhanced safety for patients. With physical distancing maintained while the surgeon sits at the console, this reduces the likelihood of the patient or surgical team catching COVID-19.”

The launch of the service aligns with the overarching goals of the UAE Centennial 2071 and the recent three-year budget cycle (2020-2022) approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
