Vectra AI has announced that Vectra Detect is now available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store that sells apps and services for Microsoft Azure. Customers of Vectra may now take benefit of Azure’s scalability, high availability, and security while reducing setup and administrative time.

“In enterprise situations, where there is often an ecosystem of tools in use at once, Azure Sentinel is uniquely enabled to provide one single interface for multiple tools,” said Randy Schirman, VP of Service Delivery at Vectra AI.

He added,  “To further enhance the incident response capabilities of Azure sentinel, Vectra has created custom connectors and workbooks that can be deployed within the platform to provide high-fidelity alerts with context detailed to accelerate time to detect and time to respond.”

“Microsoft Azure Marketplace lets customers worldwide discover, try, and deploy software solutions that are certified and optimized to run on Azure,” said Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp.

He also said, “Azure Marketplace helps solutions like Vectra Detect reach more customers and markets.”

Vectra develops security-derived, AI-driven threat detection and response for Microsoft 365 and Azure customers, including crucial Zero Trust features. Vectra, a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), developed and integrated bespoke workbooks in Azure Sentinel to help security analysts and SOC teams prioritise their investigation and remediation activities more efficiently. Microsoft and Vectra collaborate on the Zero Trust security framework.

The Vectra Detect built-in web interface allows security analysts to prioritise their investigations by priority, providing an overview of all accounts and hosts exhibiting suspicious behaviour, identifying campaigns involving multiple hosts, and breaking down individual detections for further investigation. Customers can benefit from Vectra Detect Workbooks for Azure Sentinel in a variety of ways, including:

  • Automated incidents in Azure Sentinel based on configurable threat and certainty score thresholds from Vectra
  • Forensic analysis on incidents to identify and pinpoint the devices, accounts, and attackers involved in any given situation
  • Vectra detections direct to enterprise Azure Sentinel workbooks forthe immediate attention of SOC teams
