Veritas recognized as a 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice

Veritas Technologies announced it’s being named a 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice in Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions for NetBackup™ 8.3. The announcement follows previous recognition by customers for NetBackup 8.2 in the February 2020 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions – and being positioned a Leader by Gartner analysts in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions for the 15^th consecutive time last July. 

Gartner defines Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions as providing backup capabilities for upper-end, mid-market and large-enterprise environments. The Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice is based on feedback and ratings from end-user praofessionals with experience purchasing, implementing and/or using the product or service. As of January 17, 2021, Veritas scored an overall rating of 4.8 stars out of 5.0 based on verified IT customers providing reviews to Gartner Peer Insights during the last 12 months.

I’m happy with Veritas because it handles backups correctly, mainly problems related to system and folder backups,” wrote a network administer in the finance industry.

The reliability of the environment has been great and helped get us through significant recovery effort during a major security event a few years back.
