VFS Global opens Philippines ePassport Renewal centers in nine new countries

VFS Global opened the Philippines ePassport Renewal centers in nine new countries. Ensuring the ease and welfare of Philippines living aborad the Republic of Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs and VFS Global signed a contract on August 6, 2021, to provide ePassport Renewal services in Cyprus, Ethiopia, France, Ireland, Kuwait, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.

The VFS Global ePassport Renewal Centres opened in November 2019 in Dubai, UAE, marking the first time the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs had outsourced its ePassport renewal procedure for Filipino citizens living abroad. VFS Global successfully expanded services to one additional city in the UAE and three locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2020, despite the pandemic, following the success of the operations in this trial location, which works for 12 hours every day.
