The University of Abu Dhabi held a workshop on Al-Ain campus, led by Eng. Adel AlKaff AlHashmi, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Safer Internet Society, the leading non-profit organization in protecting children from the dangers of the Internet – presenting a workshop entitled “Are you safe in the digital age?”
The workshop was aimed for students, supervisors and teachers from the university academies and several students from Al Ain schools, according to Dr. Hamad Odhabi, campus director, Al-Ain campus of the cultural season within the activities of Abu Dhabi University.
The workshop highlighted a number of important awareness information, which included the risks of electronic gaming addiction and awareness of the health, psychological and behavioral damages of cybercrime, use of social media awareness with some awareness films produced by the Judicial Department.
The event ended with a Q&A session which was handled by Eng. Adel AlKaff and interacted with the audience.
