Dubai has approved plans to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by the end of 2030, a move that is expected to offer a significant boost to the national push to attain net-zero emissions by 2050. HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, presided over the council’s 68th meeting, which was conducted online.
