Tata Communications & Zain KSA initiate smart city solutions to KSA

Tata Communications and Zain KSA have launched a strategic collaboration to help businesses and government organisations in Saudi Arabia with their digital transformation efforts (KSA). The integrated ecosystems will supply solutions and platforms to reconstruct cities with smart street lighting, smart waste management, connected workplaces, linked healthcare, and connected cars as a result of this collaboration.

The flagship project, in which Tata Communications and Zain KSA collaborate to provide a smart street lighting solution for one of Saudi Arabia’s most important cities. Tata Communications’ IoT ecosystem would act as a one-stop shop for hardware, platform, applications, and data. While Zain KSA will expand its business-to-business (B2B) offerings through joint projects such as software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and global contact centres, as well as the application of smart transportation and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that enable smart waste handling, smart metering, and other smart city use cases, to name a few, Zain KSA will expand its footprint with its B2B offerings.

It will also help the region’s environmental sustainability and digital transformation.
