Acronis, a global cybersecurity and data protection brand, announces the launch of Acronis XDR, the latest addition to its robust security solution lineup. This new Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solution extends beyond traditional endpoint protection, delivering a fully integrated and highly efficient cybersecurity platform tailored for managed service providers (MSPs).

With cyberattacks becoming increasingly sophisticated due to the use of AI by cybercriminals and expanding attack surfaces, businesses are more vulnerable to data breaches and malware. MSPs face the challenge of protecting their clients with complex, costly, and time-consuming tools that often provide incomplete protection. Acronis XDR addresses these challenges by offering comprehensive protection without the high costs and complexity.

Key Features and Benefits of Acronis XDR:

– Native Integration: Seamlessly integrates cybersecurity, data protection, and endpoint management to safeguard vulnerable attack surfaces, ensuring business continuity.

– High Efficiency: Easy to deploy, manage, scale, and deliver security services. Features AI-based incident analysis and single-click responses for quick investigation and resolution.

– MSP-Centric Design: Provides a single agent and console for all services, with a customizable platform that allows the integration of additional tools into a unified technology stack.

“Acronis makes a compelling entrance into XDR,” notes Chris Kissel, Research Vice-President at IDC. “Acronis extends their XDR stack with alerts mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and cloud correlation detections, supporting multitenancy with intuitive dashboard visualizations.”

Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis, adds: “MSPs must deliver reliable cybersecurity to clients with diverse IT environments and limited budgets. Acronis XDR empowers MSPs to provide top-tier security without the complexity and overhead of traditional, non-integrated tools, thanks to AI-assisted capabilities within the Acronis solution.”

Earlier this year, Acronis introduced Acronis MDR powered by Novacoast, an advanced endpoint security service designed for MSPs. This service, integrated with data protection, enhances business resilience and complements the Acronis EDR solution, which focuses on passive endpoint protection.

The launch of Acronis XDR and MDR builds on the company’s EDR offering released in May 2023, leveraging AI-based innovations and native integrations to reduce complexity and deliver comprehensive security efficiently. With Acronis’ extensive security portfolio, MSPs can now provide complete cybersecurity solutions to their clients and scale their operations effectively.
