D-Link Corporation introduced the DIS-3650AP Outdoor Industrial AC1200 Access Point and the DIS-2650AP Indoor Industrial Access Point. Industry X.0 has been defined as the digital reinvention of industries via the application of sophisticated digital technologies to generate innovation and growth. With the increased rate of technological transformation, companies demand solutions like D-Link’s industrial-grade access points boost operational efficiency and promote Industry X.0 success.

The DIS-3650AP and DIS-2650AP from D-Link are important components of any organization’s network infrastructure in applications such as Smart Cities, Smart Transportation, and Smart Factories because they provide a mission-critical connection for industrial settings. The access points provide improved speeds and throughput up to 1200 Mbps thanks to dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi. They enable MU-MIMO for improved handling of numerous data streams, while Airtime Fairness, Band Steering, and Fast Roaming maximize connection for all devices. The DIS-3650AP and DIS-2650AP are both PoE compatible and provide WPA2 security for strong protection. Using the supplied DIN rail mounting kit, setup and installation are a breeze, and centralized management is convenient with D-free Link’s network management solution Nuclias Connect.

Both D-Link industrial access points are designed for use in severe environments and have a wide temperature range. The DIS-3650AP is IP-67 rated for dust and water resistance, whereas the DIS-2650AP is IP-30 rated for solid object resistance. The DIS-2650AP also has extra features, such as a detachable 4-contact terminal block for power supply redundancy. The DIS-2650AP meets IEC worldwide requirements for industrial usage, including built-in 2KV surge protection and 15KV ESD protection.
