ManageEngine to demonstrate boosted security capabilities during GITEX Technology Week, which runs from October 17 to 21, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Hall 7, exhibit #H7-C1. ManageEngine’s unified endpoint management (UEM) solution, now includes data loss prevention for endpoints, anti-ransomware, and endpoint compliance features.
Organizations have seen a nearly 500 percent increase in ransomware attacks since the widespread adoption of remote work, not only contributing to the expanding cyberthreat landscape but also affecting the business continuity of affected businesses. Given that the hybrid work paradigm is here to stay, ManageEngine has announced the inclusion of anti-ransomware tools to help enterprises future-proof their cybersecurity strategy by assisting in real-time ransomware detection, smooth data recovery, and root cause analysis.
According to ManageEngine’s 2021 Digital Readiness Survey, 83 percent of respondents worldwide face an increase in security threats as a result of remote workers. Organizations used a variety of technologies such as Secure Access Service Edge, cloud access security brokers, and Zero Trust to establish secure access to business data in the face of these cyberthreats. Organizations must, however, secure the security of business data and prevent data loss on endpoints used by employees. Endpoint data loss protection tools were provided by ManageEngine with the purpose of allowing customers to limit data exchange to trustworthy emails, peripherals, and cloud applications, all from within their existing UEM environment.
Organizations must adhere to industry regulatory norms in order to maintain security. ManageEngine helps enterprises comply with CIS compliance for endpoints, which in turn helps them comply with PCI DSS, HIPAA, FISMA, and other regulatory frameworks aligned with CIS Benchmarks.
“The pandemic changed the way we work, distributing a highly centralized workforce and later pushing organizations into a hybrid work model. Cybercriminals leverage such changes to enhance the complexity of cyberattacks. Enterprises need to make constant additions to their cybersecurity infrastructure to tackle these new threats,” said Mathivanan Venkatachalam, vice president of ManageEngine.
He added, “ManageEngine strives to continue adding enhanced security capabilities to its UEM solution, helping organizations combat the evolving threat landscape without the need for additional agents and setup.”
ManageEngine was also named a Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Endpoint Management Tools in 2021, with a 4.5/5 overall rating and an 87 percent “Willingness to Recommend” in the UEM tools category. The award is based on customer feedback submitted between November 30, 2020 and November 30, 2021.
