Celonis Execution Management System (EMS) is now available as a managed cloud service on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) from Red Hat, IBM, and Celonis. In a multicloud environment, this allows enterprises to fully utilise the collaboration and unique skills of each company. AWS is the first public cloud platform to support Celonis EMS on Red Hat OpenShift, with support for Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft Azure coming in the near future.

The three businesses formed a strategic partnership in April 2021 to accelerate how global corporations use process mining, data analytics, and systems automation to improve business execution. Despite billions of dollars spent on digital transformation, from next-generation apps to cloud-based systems, businesses continue to struggle to realize their full business potential due to process inefficiencies and gaps, fragmented data, and an overall increase in IT complexity.

ROSA is a turnkey application platform managed and supported jointly by Red Hat and AWS that makes it easier for enterprises to build, scale, and manage containerized apps on OpenShift on AWS. The service combines the scale and power of AWS with the innovation, flexibility, and open nature of Red Hat OpenShift, the industry’s leading enterprise Kubernetes platform. This combination simplifies infrastructure and operational management, allowing businesses to concentrate only on delivering more business value through cloud-native transformation.

Celonis EMS is now available on ROSA, allowing businesses to examine and optimize their business processes using the combined knowledge of Celonis, IBM Consulting, and Red Hat. Celonis, a global pioneer in execution management, offers its EMS to businesses, weaving together data, information, and action to enable firms to put data to work in essential systems like ERP and CRM (CRM). Celonis EMS uses real-time data from various systems to identify and unlock full process execution potential across businesses.

Celonis EMS on ROSA enables businesses to concentrate on business improvement processes while using Kubernetes innovation to reduce time to value. The service reduces the complexity of cloud infrastructure and offers a variety of deployment choices.

Celonis EMS has been integrated into the IBM Garage Methodology since the strategic relationship was formed earlier this year, and Celonis recently recognized IBM as Global Alliance Partner of the Year. IBM Consulting plans to put the power of business execution in the hands of IBM consultants across many regions and industries by integrating Celonis EMS and utilizing the capabilities of the Red Hat OpenShift platform.

Lars Herrmann, vice president, Partner Ecosystem Products and Technologies, Red Hat, commented, “As cloud strategies mature, we have seen IT organizations establish preferences for specific cloud environments and strategies, which in turn can raise new challenges for SaaS providers. Red Hat OpenShift, available as a consistent cloud service across multiple clouds highlighted by Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, enables SaaS leaders like Celonis to deliver greater cloud choice to their customers while relying on Red Hat’s expertise in managing, maintaining and scaling infrastructure spanning multi-cloud environments. This enhances the customer experience while fostering vendor innovation as they can now focus on core offerings without having to deal with with the underlying architectural complexities.”

Miguel Milano, Chief Revenue Officer and co-owner of Celonis says, “A key element of the Celonis, IBM and Red Hat collaboration is to deliver innovative solutions to our joint customers. With general availability of Celonis EMS on ROSA, we are enabling deployment flexibility for our market-leading business execution solutions across private and public cloud architectures. I’m delighted that together, we can now remove much of the legacy complexity of cloud infrastructures and empower our customers to accelerate value from digital transformation.”
