OPSWAT and Starlink have joined forces to enhance cybersecurity defenses for critical infrastructure in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. As digitalization expands and industrial sectors modernize, the convergence of digital IT and industrial operational technology (OT) has created a larger attack surface, presenting challenges for OT-heavy organizations. In response to these threats, OPSWAT offers an end-to-end cybersecurity platform designed to protect enterprise IT and industrial OT environments.

Sertan Selcuk, VP of Sales for Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Pakistan at OPSWAT, emphasized the need for fortifying critical infrastructures against the unrelenting cyberthreat landscape. He highlighted the partnership with Starlink as a significant step in bolstering the region’s cyber defenses and ensuring robust protection for clients.

The collaboration allows OPSWAT to expand its product portfolio in the MEA region and tap into Starlink’s extensive network and market reach, thus enhancing its cybersecurity presence. Starlink’s existing domain expertise in infrastructure security, data protection, OT security, and compliance management complements OPSWAT’s offerings, giving the VAD a competitive edge in the regional cybersecurity solutions market.

Starlink will focus on developing business opportunities for OPSWAT’s comprehensive solutions and zero-trust technologies across various industries. By leveraging its solution-selling GTM strategy, Starlink aims to address specific cybersecurity challenges and provide complete sets of solutions for businesses.

Ahmed Diab, COO of Starlink, expressed enthusiasm about supporting OPSWAT’s growth in the region and delivering value to enterprises to secure their critical infrastructure. The collaboration has significant potential for both companies, as OPSWAT complements multiple technologies in Starlink’s portfolio.

Overall, the partnership between OPSWAT and Starlink aims to strengthen cybersecurity defenses for critical infrastructure in the MEA region and provide customers with comprehensive and robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
