“Veeam Introduces New Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) Offerings for Microsoft 365 and Azure” Veeam Software, a renowned leader in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, has unveiled two new offerings that blend the reliability of Veeam’s backup and restore capabilities with the simplicity of Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS). The first offering, Cirrus by Veeam, is now available for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure customers, providing a straightforward, flexible, and robust BaaS solution. This offering allows companies to streamline the management and administration of their backup operations while benefiting from Veeam’s resilient technology.
In Q1 2024, Veeam will introduce an enhanced version of the BaaS offering, accessible through Veeam service providers, the Microsoft Azure marketplace, and Veeam’s online store.
Danny Allan, CTO at Veeam, emphasized, “450,000 customers trust Veeam to protect their business and keep it running, which has led us to become the #1 global provider of data protection and ransomware recovery. We’re now giving customers those trusted capabilities – for Microsoft 365 and for Microsoft Azure – delivered as a service. Through this new BaaS offering, customers have increased flexibility in how they wish to use Veeam to protect their business, whether in the cloud, on-premises or in a hybrid model.”
