Entrust, a renowned global authority in trusted identity, payments, and data safeguarding, has joined forces with StarLink, a key player in cyber and cloud solutions within the Infinigate Group and a leading regional entity. Their shared objective is to deliver state-of-the-art digital security solutions to organizations across the Middle East and Africa.
In tandem with regional initiatives aimed at combating emerging cybersecurity threats, the collaborative efforts of these two enterprises are dedicated to furnishing local clientele with the utmost standards of cybersecurity. The partnership was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2023. “The ongoing digital transformation across all sectors is bound to be coupled with a simultaneous increase in cyberattacks, which will continue to increase in sophistication. In light of this, we are delighted to announce our new strategic partnership with StarLink. ”
Together, we aim to strengthen the digital security posture of companies in the region and help them defend against an ever-evolving threat landscape. This partnership is a testament to our solid commitment to better serve our existing and potential customers in the region.”
Julien Caifero, Director – Global Business Development, Infinigate (representing StarLink), highlighted StarLink’s mission to reshape the distribution landscape through disruptive and innovative approaches. He emphasized that the partnership with Entrust enables them to provide regional on-ground support, extensive channel networks, and an unparalleled Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, contributing to the expansion and scaling of business in the region. Additionally, Caifero expressed excitement about cross-selling opportunities with complementary technology vendors and the prospect of broadening cybersecurity offerings in the MEA region.
This collaboration is poised to foster Entrust’s growth in government and enterprise markets while extending its presence into regions where it currently lacks local representation. The strategic alignment also capitalizes on the strong existing relationship between Entrust and Infinigate, the parent company of StarLink, in Europe, serving as a seamless bridge into the Middle East market.
