Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has forged a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a prominent subsidiary of Amazon renowned for its cloud computing platforms and application programming interfaces.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to bolster RTA’s transition to cloud computing while facilitating the exchange of expertise and best practices across various domains including application programming, artificial intelligence, data solutions, Augmented Reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Through this venture, RTA aims to leverage cutting-edge digital technologies to advance its migration to cloud computing and elevate the digital transformation across its service offerings to the public in Dubai.
Mohammed Al Mudharreb, CEO of the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, represented RTA in sealing the agreement, while Wojciech Bajda, Director of the Public Sector in the Middle East and Africa, acted on behalf of Amazon Web Service (AWS).
