LG Named Official Partner of Esports World Cup 2024 in Riyadh

LG Electronics (LG) has been unveiled as the official partner of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024, currently underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Formerly known as Gamers8, EWC is a prestigious international esports tournament featuring competitions across 21 of the world’s top online games, including League of Legends, Overwatch, and Fortnite.

The highlight of this year’s event is the extensive use of LG’s renowned UltraGear™ gaming monitors, marking the third consecutive year that LG UltraGear has been chosen as the exclusive monitor for EWC. The LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor (model 32GS95UE) will prominently feature at the tournament, providing professional gamers with unparalleled visual clarity and responsiveness.

With a record-breaking prize pool, EWC 2024 promises eight weeks of intense competition involving over 1,500 professional athletes. More than 990 LG UltraGear gaming monitors will be deployed during league matches and showcased at LG’s interactive booth at the event.

Additionally, LG’s Pixel Sound technology enhances in-game audio for a more immersive gameplay environment.
