Acer Launches Wave 7 and W6x Routers

Acer has announced the launch of two new wireless routers, the Acer Wave 7 and Predator Connect W6x, designed to provide seamless connectivity for various users, including gamers, families, and remote workers. The Acer Wave 7 features cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 technology, offering ultra-fast speeds up to 6400 Mbps, ideal for large households with multiple devices. It comes with Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology, enabling simultaneous data transmission across different frequencies, significantly boosting network throughput and reducing latency.

The Predator Connect W6x, on the other hand, is optimized for gamers, delivering Wi-Fi 6 connectivity with speeds up to 6000 Mbps. It is powered by a 2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of DDR4 RAM, and 256 MB of ROM, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted gameplay. The Predator Connect W6x also features the Hybrid Quality of Service (QoS) software, combined with the Intel® Killer™ Prioritization Engine, to prioritize critical network traffic and minimize lag.

Both routers are equipped with Trend Micro Home Network Security to safeguard network privacy and connected devices from potential threats. Acer’s focus on energy efficiency and sustainable packaging further highlights its commitment to sustainability.
