VAST Data, the AI data platform company, has named Amy Shapero as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Amy Shapero’s impressive track record includes her recent role as CFO at Shopify, where she played a pivotal role in growing the company’s revenue from under $700 million to nearly $6 billion within five years. Shapero’s experience extends across various private and public technology companies in commerce, financial services, marketing, and information services. Her expertise with software-as-a-service models has enabled innovative small to medium-sized businesses and data-driven enterprises to leverage data effectively.
