HMD Partners with FC Barcelona in 3-Year Deal

FC Barcelona has announced a new high-profile partner in Human Mobile Devices (HMD), a European mobile phone innovator. This three-year partnership designates HMD as both a Global Partner and the Official Mobile Phone Partner of FC Barcelona. The collaboration extends across all FC Barcelona teams, including basketball, futsal, handball, and roller hockey.

The partnership was unveiled in a unique fashion via a social media video featuring Lamine Yamal’s hairdresser, Saul Peregrina. The video showcases Peregrina creating intricate artwork by shaving the FC Barcelona crest and HMD logo into a fan’s head. This creative process, which took two hours, highlights the innovative spirit of both brands.

Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, Vice President of HMD in the AMEA Region, expressed excitement about the partnership: “Football is the number one sport in the Middle East, and FC Barcelona is highly popular in our region. This partnership will bring Barcelona fans closer to their favorite team through HMD.”
