The nation’s commitment to digital security and innovation has been recognized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which placed the UAE in the prestigious “Pioneering Model” category.
Representing the UAE, the Cybersecurity Council successfully met all 80 criteria of the index, achieving a perfect score of 100%. This remarkable achievement underscores the nation’s dedication to building a robust and secure digital infrastructure that supports its ambitious future goals.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Cybersecurity Council, expressed his pride in the UAE’s accomplishment, attributing it to the visionary leadership of the nation and its forward-thinking policies in digital transformation. He emphasized that this global recognition reflects the significant strides made in cybersecurity and strengthens the UAE’s position as a regional and global hub for innovation and technology.
