A recent report reveals a troubling surge in cyberattacks across the Middle East, with a 17% increase in 2023, particularly targeting essential sectors like finance, energy, and government. Human-powered security platforms, such as HackerOne, provide proactive vulnerability detection that is 35% more cost-effective compared to traditional methods.
HackerOne stands out in human-powered security, with 61% of its customers discovering more vulnerabilities than traditional vendors. Notably, 22.75% of valid vulnerabilities identified through bug bounty programs are classified as high or critical, a significant increase compared to less than 1% found by automated scanners. Additionally, 18% of findings from HackerOne’s pentest services are rated as high or critical severity, nearly doubling the industry average.
