LG Electronics (LG) is set to launch its latest 31.5-inch surgical monitor (model 32HR734S), powered by advanced Mini LED display technology. Designed to deliver high-quality video from surgical endoscopes, laparoscopic systems, and other medical imaging devices, this cutting-edge monitor has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. FDA, allowing it to enter the U.S. market.

The 32HR734S features a 4K Mini LED display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, leveraging thousands of tiny LED diodes for precise brightness control and superior image clarity. With 2,000 cd/m² peak brightness, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, the monitor is ideal for surgical applications like laparoscopy and endoscopy.

Built for surgical environments, the 32HR734S is equipped with Optical Bonding technology and Anti-Glare, Anti-Reflection, and Anti-Fingerprint coatings to ensure optimal visibility even in bright operating rooms. Its IP45-rated front and IP32-rated rear provide strong protection against water and dust, ensuring durability during surgeries.

LG’s 32HR734S is also the first in its range to introduce the Clone Screen feature, allowing the duplication of images on a secondary monitor via HDMI, enhancing operational efficiency and communication among surgical teams. Other features like Mirror Mode, Rotation Mode, and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) functionality further improve versatility and functionality.

“Featuring advanced Mini LED technology, the 32HR734S delivers excellent picture quality and convenient functionality needed in surgical settings,” said YS Lee, vice president and head of the IT business unit at LG Business Solutions Company.

With these features, the 32HR734S promises to improve efficiency for medical professionals during surgeries, making it a game-changer in medical imaging technology.
