His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), launched the ministry’s new and enhanced interactive website at the 44th edition of GITEX Global. This advanced digital platform is designed to improve the user experience for investors, companies, and individuals by offering robust search tools in multiple languages and a live customer assistance service.
During his tour at GITEX Global, where he was accompanied by a delegation at the MoIAT stand, His Excellency Dr. Al Jaber explored various government and private sector stands, including those of Emirates Development Bank, Abu Dhabi Government, Dubai Government, Etisalat, Du, Nvidia, and Huawei. He received updates on their digital solutions, projects, and initiatives in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital empowerment.
A highlight of the tour was the demonstration of the ministry’s transformational project: the UAE Integrated Industrial Dashboard, “Aloum Al Senaa.” This innovative tool aims to empower decision-makers by collecting and analyzing data to support the growth and competitiveness of the industrial sector, showcasing investment opportunities to aid informed decision-making.
At GITEX 2024, MoIAT is also presenting its online and smart services aligned with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology (Operation 300bn). The ministry is hosting three workshops focused on AI, cybersecurity, compliance, and strategies for thriving in an evolving business landscape.
His Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of MoIAT, stated, “The ministry’s participation in GITEX Global reflects the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, which prioritizes innovation, advanced technology adoption, and the digitalization of services for investors and businesses, enhancing the competitiveness of local companies on regional and global stages.”
He added, “Under MoIAT’s strategic direction for sustainable industrial growth, we are committed to enhancing customer experiences and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making in digital transformation. Our new website is designed to facilitate access to services more flexibly and efficiently, aligning with our goals for proactivity and effectiveness.”
