Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the third edition of the Dubai Future Forum is set to take place at Dubai’s Museum of the Future from November 19-20, 2024. Organized by the Dubai Future Foundation, this annual event stands as the world’s premier gathering of futurists and future-focused organizations, expecting over 2,500 participants from approximately 100 countries and around 100 top foresight institutions.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Managing Director of DFF, highlighted the forum’s role as a global platform where experts and decision-makers address pressing challenges, envision opportunities, and strategize for a better future. H.E. Al Gergawi stated, “The Dubai Future Forum sparks global dialogues that prioritize the insights of leading futurists and institutions. It has become a hub for advancing international partnerships and launching impactful initiatives that leverage technology to address societal challenges.”
Exploring Five Pivotal Themes
The 2024 Dubai Future Forum will delve into five key themes: Futuring Nature, Empowering Generations, Transforming Humanity, Optimizing Health, and Foresight Insights. These themes will frame discussions on the future of critical sectors, including energy, food, AI, the digital economy, space, biomedicine, and sustainability. Around 70 sessions, including panel discussions, keynotes, and workshops, will host over 150 speakers such as ministers, CEOs, academics, and thought leaders.
As part of the forum, the Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity initiative, guided by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, will showcase 100 pioneering projects aimed at addressing global challenges. Supported by a strategic partnership with the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation, the initiative, endorsed with AED 100 million, further solidifies Dubai’s commitment to fostering talent and innovation across future-focused industries.
Citywide Engagements and Future-focused Activations
Dubai Future Forum 2024 will extend beyond the Museum of the Future with pre-, during, and post-event activities across the city.
