DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a prominent Fortune 500 global technology services partner, has teamed up with Accelya, a provider of technology solutions for the airline industry. This partnership aims to create a seamless and modern airport retail experience while accelerating system integrations for airlines worldwide. By modernizing operations and introducing innovative offerings, the collaboration seeks to enhance the overall traveler experience.
Accelya will utilize DXC’s proprietary Departure Control Systems (DCS) to improve operational efficiency and elevate passenger experiences at airports. This technology supports Accelya’s FLX ONE capabilities, integral to its new FLX ONE retailing platform. Currently, the FLX ONE platform generates over 30 billion offers globally each day, assisting airlines in managing flight inventory and booking seats. With FLX ONE, airlines can leverage a unified platform that encompasses every phase of The International Air Transport Association (IATA) Offers, Orders, Settle & Delivery, thus providing a modern, personalized, and frictionless experience for travelers.
The FLX ONE platform empowers airlines to efficiently manage ticketing offers and orders while fulfilling reservations directly on their own platforms. This reduces overhead costs and drives revenue growth by enabling personalized offers and enhanced customer-centric retail capabilities throughout the travel journey.
“FLX ONE is a proven, future-ready platform that gives airlines complete control over their retailing—from booking to boarding—delivering a seamless experience,” said Sam Gilliland, CEO of Accelya. “The addition of FLX Delivery, powered by DXC’s airport technology, makes FLX ONE a truly comprehensive Offers, Orders, Settle & Delivery (OOSD) solution and a genuine alternative to legacy systems.”
In addition to enhancing the FLX ONE platform, DXC and Accelya are establishing DXC as Accelya’s preferred systems integrator. With deep industry expertise and a track record of executing large-scale system integrations, DXC aims to accelerate modernization and drive innovation for leading airlines.
“DXC partners with the world’s leading airlines to deliver seamless experiences and leverage transformational technology like AI across their business operations,” stated Chris Drumgoole, Managing Director for DXC’s Global Infrastructure Services. “Our new partnership with Accelya will bring tremendous value to airlines looking to modernize their systems while elevating the customer experience and maximizing return on investment.”
