This award highlights the Council’s impactful approach to empowering UAE youth through innovative skill-building and cultural inclusion initiatives.

The du Youth Council’s programs include the Youth Digital Pioneers Program, equipping participants with cutting-edge knowledge in areas such as 5G, cloud computing, and the Metaverse. The Council has also launched several notable initiatives, including the Girls in ICT initiative, the du Youthcast Podcast, the Emirati Language Course, and the I Am Remarkable workshop—collectively underscoring du’s holistic approach to youth development.
Furthering its commitment to digital innovation, the Youth Council introduced the Robotics Bootcamp on Youth Skills Day, offering du employees’ children an immersive learning experience in robotics, coding, and AI. Designed by an Emirati Youth, this certified, two-day program aligns with du’s mission to cultivate future tech leaders.
In addition, the Council launched the Skillpreneurship Platform, an innovative initiative enabling employees to showcase and monetize their skills—ranging from coding to culinary arts. With over 3,000 employees participating across three sessions, the platform has fostered a community of entrepreneurial spirit, personal development, and skill-sharing.
