Riverbed, the AI-powered observability company, has announced an innovative extension to its platform: Riverbed Aternity for Intel® Thunderbolt™ and Wi-Fi. This pioneering solution integrates observability capabilities into connected devices equipped with Intel Thunderbolt and Intel Wi-Fi technologies, merging Riverbed Aternity’s analytics with Intel Connectivity Analytics for deep, below-the-OS telemetry. This unique integration extends visibility beyond traditional PCs, allowing IT teams to enhance the digital experience for end-users on a comprehensive range of connected devices.
With Intel Connectivity Analytics, this observability solution for Intel Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi is the first third-party module in the Riverbed Unified Agent. This innovation addresses agent fatigue by capturing extensive data without additional agents, giving IT teams unparalleled insights to elevate the digital experience and resolve issues proactively.
“This next chapter in Riverbed’s partnership with Intel is a groundbreaking advancement,” said Dave Donatelli, CEO of Riverbed. “By extending observability into devices equipped with Intel Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi, we’re enhancing digital experiences for millions by eliminating the ‘black box’ effect IT teams often face. This co-developed solution strengthens Riverbed’s AI-powered Digital Experience Platform, providing comprehensive observability across devices, networks, and into traditionally hidden areas such as mobile and Zero Trust architectures.”
Eric McLaughlin, VP and GM of the Connectivity Solutions Group at Intel, added, “Together with Riverbed, we’re redefining IT management by integrating Intel Connectivity Analytics with Riverbed’s robust telemetry. This collaboration empowers IT teams to optimize digital experiences, ensuring seamless performance for Intel Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi users worldwide.”
Key Features of Riverbed Aternity for Intel Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi Technologies:
– Telemetry Source: Utilizing Intel Connectivity Analytics SDK, the module enables deep analysis of metrics and configuration data from Intel-equipped devices. Working with Riverbed Aternity’s End User Experience (EUE) solution, it enhances Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management.
