Using the latest modern technology to promote Egypt is a step to re-engage tourism in the nation. Calling the tag “We Take Care of You in Egypt”, the authority has launched a 3D virtual reality technology to promote medical tourism targeting the middle east and North Africa.

In addition to a place in the competition, each finalist will have the opportunity to invest in a pod in ATM 2022's start-up area; access to a booking and matchmaking platform powered by AladdinB2B and Draper VC, which can be used to arrange meetings with prospective investors; and global exposure via ATM Travel Tech's various marketing platforms.

The Czech Republic pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has been attracting tourists with its innovative and leading efforts within the sustainability zone. The pavilion commemorated Czech Tourism Day by organizing an educational workshop for Middle Eastern travel partners. The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Czech Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, focused on the country's thriving "Wellness Tourism" business.

Umbrella Beach, an ambitious tourism project now underway on the eastern coast of the UAE, appears set to put the Emirate of Fujairah on the international tourism map. Slated for completion later this year, the project’s first phase will include at least 15 storefronts, to be eventually followed by a range of upscale retail outlets, restaurants, and other tourist-friendly attractions.

It will do so by launching a range of companies that will promote the tourism industry and other supporting sectors, securing major partnerships with dominant international and travel companies. “Tourism 365” will enable the tourism sector, increasing the emirate’s attractiveness to international visitors.

Addressing a capacity crowd at the in-person ATM 2021, the region’s largest travel and tourism showcase, were Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO, Saudi Tourism Authority, Majed Alnefaie, Acting CEO of Seera, Captain Ibrahim Koshy, CEO, Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), and Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby, Founder and CEO of FNN International and Chair of the Arab International Women’s Forum.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Wael Abdoush, General Manager IBM Egypt and Mr. Reda Metwally, head of EGYPTAIR Tourism and Duty Free Co, in the presence of Pilot Roshdy Zakaria, EGYPTAIR Holding Chairman and CEO, a group of leaders of the two companies, and Mr. Atef Roshdy, ECS Company manager - Agent of SAP Company.

"Jadarah" comprises three training sessions: People of determination trainer, sign language (level one), and the etiquette of dealing with people of determination. Two sessions were held last October and the last session is yet to be held. All participants will receive an official certificate of participation from the Ministry of Community Development.
