Acer has unveiled two new eco-friendly projectors in its Vero product line, the Acer Vero PD2528ic and the Acer Vero PD2328, designed for businesses and consumers seeking high-performance, energy-efficient technology. The new Acer Vero PD2 Series projectors are equipped with the latest Gen 4 LED light source, enhancing brightness by up to 18.5% compared to previous models, providing light output of up to 3,700 ANSI lumens, making them ideal for home cinema or meeting room setups. With support for 120% of the REC 709 color space, these projectors offer impressive color precision and a contrast ratio of 50,000:1 for vibrant visuals.

The Acer Vero PD2328 features WXGA resolution (1280×800) with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 3,700 ANSI lumens, while the Acer Vero PD2528ic boasts Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 3,200 ANSI lumens. Both projectors utilize Acer LumiSense technology to enhance content visibility in dark environments, and advanced color technologies like Acer ColorPurity+, ColorBoostLED, and ColorSafe II ensure natural, vivid colors.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the Acer Vero PD2 Series projectors incorporate Acer EcoProjection technology, which reduces power consumption and replacement costs. They automatically enter Eco mode, dimming the light source to 60% when inactive and performing a safety shutdown after a period of inactivity. These projectors are lamp and mercury-free, extending their lifespan to up to 30,000 hours and improving energy efficiency by up to 42% compared to traditional lamp-based models. Made with 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and 100% recyclable packaging, they reflect Acer’s commitment to eco-friendly technology.

Weighing just 2.6 kg and measuring 11.8 inches wide, the PD2 Series projectors are lightweight and compact, making them easy to fit into any space or mount on docking stations. The Vero PD2528ic comes with an Acer wireless dongle for seamless wireless projection and screen mirroring from smartphones or PCs without the need for additional apps. Both projectors can endure up to 24 hours of continuous projection, ideal for public displays or exhibitions, and feature a built-in 10W speaker to eliminate the need for external audio devices. With HDMI 3D support, users can experience movies and games with enhanced depth and engagement. Installation is easy with Auto Keystone Correction and an Auto Ceiling Mount gravity sensor that automatically adjusts the projected image orientation.

Acer Vero PD2 Series projectors offer a lower total cost of ownership compared to traditional lamp-based models, eliminating lamp replacement costs throughout their lifecycle. Their sealed engine design protects internal systems from dust damage, further reducing maintenance costs.
