Acer is set to launch its Swift series of thin-and-light laptops featuring the new AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors in Q3 2024. These laptops will boast enhanced performance and efficiency, driven by the latest AMD technology.
The new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors are built on the high-performance “Zen 5” architecture, offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads. They incorporate AMD XDNA™ 2 technology, providing up to 50+ TOPS of AI processing power. This will enable users to run AI applications, Large Language Models, and AI assistants directly on the Acer Swift laptops, enhancing productivity and creativity without the need for internet access.
These processors are designed for lower power consumption, ensuring excellent battery life even during intensive computing tasks. They feature up to 36 MB of cache for faster productivity and responsiveness. Additionally, the built-in AMD Radeon™ 800M graphics support high-resolution displays and accelerated encoding, with or without a discrete graphics card.
