AMD to Showcase Momentum in AI and HPC at GITEX 2024

AMD, a global high-performance and adaptive computing company, is set to participate in GITEX 2024 for the fifth consecutive year. The company aims to demonstrate its leadership in AI innovation and further enhance customer engagement in the Middle East.

In 2024, AMD signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Meeza, Qatar’s premier managed IT services and data center provider, to facilitate the AI revolution in the region. Additionally, AMD established a strategic R&D collaboration with Open Innovation AI, a leading AI orchestration platform provider in the UAE, to advance AI mobile development, deployment, and performance optimization using AMD Instinct™ GPUs.

At GITEX 2024, AMD will showcase its expanding portfolio of high-performance accelerators for AI, mobile computing processors powering AI PCs, and energy-efficient data center CPUs, solidifying its position in the fast-growing digital economies of the Middle East.

AMD at GITEX 2024

AMD will also participate in the World Future Economy Digital Leaders Summit (Hall 25, Main Stage), where Hasmukh Ranjan, SVP and Chief Information Officer at AMD, will deliver a keynote presentation titled “An AI-Powered Path to Operational Excellence” at 11:40 AM GST on Tuesday, October 15.

For interviews with AMD spokespersons and technology demonstrations, attendees can visit AMD at GITEX 2024 in Hall 7, Stand #B30. The following demonstrations will be available at the stand:

– Servers utilizing energy-efficient AMD EPYC processors from OEM partners such as HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and Supermicro.

– AMD Instinct accelerators for AI, machine learning, and deep learning applications.

– AMD Ryzen AI – the first dedicated AI engine integrated with x86 processors, ushering in the AI PC era.
