Oracle has announced the successful deployment of its Fusion Cloud Applications Suite by Americana Restaurants, a leading out-of-home dining and quick-service restaurant operator in the Middle East, North Africa, and Kazakhstan. This strategic move is designed to support Americana’s rapid expansion while consolidating its finance, HR, and supply chain processes in the cloud.
Americana Restaurants operates franchises for globally recognized fast-food brands, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee’s, Krispy Kreme, Baskin Robbins, and TGI Friday’s across 12 markets in the MENA region. As the company faces accelerated growth, it recognized the need to reevaluate its core business processes to adapt quickly to new operational models and scale services effectively. The decision to implement Oracle Fusion Applications came after an assessment of available solutions, with Oracle providing a comprehensive and integrated suite of business applications and cloud analytics capabilities.
“As Americana expands and taps into new market opportunities, we need to consolidate and simplify our business systems to enhance agility and adaptability,” said Ashish Krishna, Head of IT Infrastructure at Americana Restaurants. “With Oracle Fusion Applications, we now have an integrated suite for finance, HR, and supply chain that enables us to respond swiftly to the rapidly evolving needs of our business.”
The implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has significantly increased Americana’s operational efficiency, enhanced insights, improved controls, and reduced costs. Additionally, Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) has unified HR processes onto a single platform, streamlining decision-making and enhancing the employee experience. With Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM), Americana has improved its supply and demand planning capabilities, allowing for quick responses to market fluctuations.
“Americana Restaurants is reinventing its operations as it diversifies its business and drives significant growth,” said Leopoldo Boado Lama, Senior Vice President of Business Applications, ECEMEA at Oracle. “With a proven track record in the quick-service restaurant sector, Oracle understands the competitive landscape. The deployment of Oracle Fusion Applications allows Americana to consolidate its financial, supply chain, and HR systems on a unified data platform, advancing automation and innovation in the ever-evolving food retail sector.”
