Barracuda Boosts Global Presence with Innovative Partner Program

Barracuda Networks, Inc., a renowned provider of cloud-first security solutions and a trusted partner, has unveiled its latest initiative, the Barracuda Partner Success Program, a global partner program designed with partner success at its core. The program emphasizes a shared success model and partner agility, with a distinctive focus on supporting resell partners across multiple routes to market, including resale, MSP, and marketplaces.

One key feature of the program is its recognition and reward system for partners who resell Barracuda solutions, irrespective of the chosen route to market. These partners will receive acknowledgment for their overall Barracuda business, and benefits and resources will be allocated based on their total sales contribution.

Jason Beal, Vice President, Worldwide Partner Ecosystems at Barracuda, explained, “In developing our global partner program, Barracuda put itself in our partners’ shoes to better understand their needs and build a winning go-to-market strategy. This is what we call partner empathy. Ultimately, we want our partners to be agile in catering to the ever-changing needs of customers in terms of how they consume, procure, and deliver technology solutions.”

The Barracuda Partner Success Program is structured around the LAER model of customer success—land, adoption, expansion, retention, and renewal. This framework is intended to simplify processes, incentivize partners, and support partners of various business models in growing their business and extending their customer reach while ensuring robust cybersecurity protection.

As part of the program, Barracuda is also introducing a certification for customer success, enabling sales and customer success staff to enhance customer loyalty, drive higher customer satisfaction, and increase sales.

The program introduces new enablement tracks tailored to resellers, whether they operate as resales, managed services, or cloud marketplace partners. The goal is to provide access to sales and marketing enablement resources that highlight how hyperscalers can offer joint solutions suitable for modern IT environments.

Larry Fulop, VP of Marketing and Technology at MicroAge, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “As a reseller, one of the most significant advantages of the new Barracuda Partner Success Program is that it includes all our sales from all three routes to market.”

To enhance partner engagement, Barracuda is also introducing next-generation capabilities to its Partner Portal as part of the Barracuda Partner Success Program, effective January 5, 2024. Resellers participating in the program will benefit from refreshed Premier, Preferred, Authorized, and Affiliate levels.
