As it returns to GITEX 2024 for the second consecutive year, Confluent, the data streaming pioneer, is set to unveil new capabilities in Confluent Cloud, making stream processing and data streaming more accessible and secure for Middle East enterprises. With the region’s growing preference for cloud deployments, Confluent is strengthening its presence by partnering with major cloud providers, Google and Microsoft.
Ahead of GITEX, Confluent announced several enhancements to its data streaming platform, Confluent Cloud, built on Apache Kafka®. These include Table API support, bringing Apache Flink® to Java and Python developers, and private networking for Flink, offering enterprise-level protection for sensitive data use cases. Additionally, Confluent’s Extension for Visual Studio Code accelerates real-time use case development, while Client-Side Field Level Encryption ensures enhanced data security and privacy.
“These innovations push boundaries, making it easier for developers of all skill levels to harness powerful stream processing technology for AI and other mission-critical use cases,” said Fred Crehan, Area Vice President Growth Markets at Confluent. “GITEX serves as the perfect platform to showcase how our advancements empower organizations to drive AI applications with real-time, well-governed data streams, promoting data reusability, agility, and trust.”
Confluent will also engage with new and existing channel partners at GITEX, following the launch of its Confluent OEM Program. Targeting managed service providers (MSPs), cloud service providers (CSPs), and independent software vendors (ISVs), this program enables the easy integration of a complete data streaming platform for Apache Kafka® and Apache Flink® into their customer offerings.
Confluent’s experts will be available throughout the five days of GITEX 2024 at stand C60 in Hall 7.
