Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is gearing up for a major showcase at the 44th GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology and startups event, set to take place from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
DEWA’s presence at the event will spotlight its cutting-edge digital initiatives, services, and programs, reflecting its commitment to digital transformation and global leadership. The showcase will include the latest projects from Digital DEWA, DEWA’s digital arm, which has earned DEWA a top spot among digital utilities globally.
The stand will also feature advancements from DEWA’s subsidiaries in artificial intelligence (AI), including Moro Hub (Data Hub Integrated Solutions), Digital X, and InfraX.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, praised the event, stating, “GITEX Global, supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has become a global platform uniting participants, CEOs, and technology innovators from around the world. Al Tayer emphasized DEWA’s focus on showcasing advanced digital infrastructure and innovative AI-driven services designed to enhance quality of life, sustainability, and the pursuit of net-zero goals. He added that DEWA’s participation aligns with Dubai’s ambition to rank among the top 10 digital economies worldwide, as outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
