Dubai Chamber Boosts 215 Digital Startups Worth $7B

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has significantly boosted the digital sector by supporting the establishment of 215 digital startups in the first half of 2024, with a total market value of approximately US$7 billion. This accomplishment highlights the Chamber’s role as a key player in fostering digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Dubai.

In addition to being a major venture capital institution, the Chamber has formed a strategic partnership with Ireland, aimed at promoting business opportunities, expansion, and cooperation between companies in the digital sector from both regions. This partnership is expected to enhance mutual business growth and strengthen international ties.

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy also released two critical reports in the first half of 2024. The first report focuses on the success rate of scaleups in Dubai, offering valuable insights into the factors driving their growth. The second report provides an analysis of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) landscape in the MENA region, highlighting key investment trends and opportunities.
