Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has been announced as the Strategic Partner for the Global Prompt Engineering Championship. This prestigious generative AI competition is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). Scheduled for May 20-21, the event will be hosted at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future in Dubai, with prizes totaling AED 1 million.
Global Event for Generative AI Enthusiasts
Organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and the Dubai Future Foundation, this event is the largest of its kind globally, focusing on generative AI. Competitors will showcase their talents in literature, art, and coding across three main categories.

Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized Dubai’s commitment to becoming a global hub for innovative technologies. He highlighted the partnership with Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy as a crucial step in strengthening the emirate’s position in AI and technology.

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, described the championship as a significant leap in developing skills and expertise in generative AI. He reiterated the Chamber’s dedication to supporting digital industry growth and cementing Dubai’s status as the digital economy capital.
Enhancing Skills Through Workshops
As part of the championship, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will host a training workshop to enhance generative AI prompt engineering skills. This workshop, aimed at UAE nationals, is part of the ‘Emirati Training Academy’ under the ‘Create Apps in Dubai’ initiative, focusing on empowering local digital talent.
Intense Competition and Generous Prizes
Participants will compete in four rounds on the first day, judged on speed, quality, innovation, creativity, and accuracy. The top three from each category will advance to the final stage on the second day, contending for a share of the AED 1 million prize fund.
