Dubai Chamber Promotes Expand North Star Globally

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, operating under Dubai Chambers, has concluded a series of 12 international roadshows aimed at promoting Expand North Star, the world’s largest event for startups and investors. Scheduled to take place at Dubai Harbour from October 13th to 16th, 2024, the event is expected to attract global attention.

The chamber engaged with 1,500 startups across cities in Poland, India, Brazil, China, Morocco, France, Switzerland, the UK, and the Netherlands. These international roadshows fostered partnerships with ecosystem players, including venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, and government-backed entities, to attract high-potential startups to Dubai.

Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star is designed to connect promising startups with global investors, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Each roadshow featured presentations on the opportunities in Dubai’s market, along with pitch competitions where winners from each city secured a fully sponsored visit and participation in the event.

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is focused on advancing Dubai’s digital ecosystem and supporting the emirate’s transformation into a leading global digital economy. Expand North Star plays a crucial role in positioning Dubai as a hub for innovation and advanced technologies, contributing to sustainable economic growth and development in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
