Digital Dubai is set to showcase the Dubai Government’s latest innovations accelerating the city’s digital transformation at GITEX Global 2024. The event, taking place from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will feature a ‘Dubai Government Pavilion’ where over 45 government and private sector entities will present their digital transformation efforts.
The Pavilion will highlight cutting-edge technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence, showcasing AI-driven solutions that are pivotal to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This platform reflects Dubai’s progress toward becoming a leading smart city, aligning with its vision of digital innovation.
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, emphasized the significance of GITEX Global, stating, “GITEX Global is a key event that highlights Dubai’s strides towards a future shaped by advanced information technology. By fostering collaboration across sectors, we are collectively working to realize this vision.” He noted that Dubai’s pioneering innovations will transform the city’s digital landscape, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
The Pavilion will feature participation from 36 government entities, including Dubai Health, Dubai Culture, Dubai Courts, and more. Private sector partners such as Etisalat, Moro Hub, and Dubai Airports will also be present. Events like partnership signings and expert presentations will focus on technology and digital transformation.
GITEX Global 2024 is expected to host over 6,000 exhibitors and 1,800 speakers from 180 countries, spotlighting trends in AI, cybersecurity, and the digital economy. Digital Dubai will highlight its progress toward key goals, including contributing AED100 billion to the digital economy and positioning Dubai among the top global cities for digital talent.
