e& has initiated applications for its sixth AI Graduate Programme, slated to commence in September 2024, aiming to cultivate the next wave of Emirati leaders in artificial intelligence (AI). Emirati university graduates across disciplines are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn.

Ali Al Mansoori, e&’s Group Chief People Officer, emphasized the programme’s role in advancing technological innovation and Emiratisation. He highlighted its significance in supporting the UAE’s workforce goals by nurturing local talent and fostering diversity.

The exclusive 12-month programme will expand this year, offering more than 30 new positions. It promises a comprehensive curriculum covering AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, big data, and analytics. Participants will undergo rigorous assessments like ‘HackAI’ and ‘ThinkAI’, designed to simulate real-world challenges and develop practical solutions.

Participants will benefit from hands-on experience with AI projects and personalized development plans, including mentorship and coaching. The programme, developed in collaboration with leading educational institutions like Udacity and Harvard Business Review, has already trained over 200 future AI leaders since its inception in 2021.

e& aims to bolster Emirati representation in the technology sector, reflecting its commitment with 53% of its UAE workforce comprising Emirati talent. Notably, over 61% of senior management positions are held by Emiratis, with Emirati women constituting 79% of female employees.

Candidates for the AI Graduate Programme must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a UAE Ministry of Education-accredited institution, completed within the last two years, with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Relevant professional experience up to two years is advantageous.
