e& UAE has officially launched its second AI-powered autonomous store, EASE (e& Autonomous Store Experience), at Dubai Mall. Building on the success of its first AI-driven telecom store—launched in 2023 at Al Kifaf building as a global first—the company continues to push the boundaries of retail innovation by introducing a seamless shopping experience with zero wait times.

Hatem Dowidar, Group CEO of e&, expressed excitement over the expansion: “With the launch of EASE at Dubai Mall, we are offering customers a glimpse into the future of shopping—one that blurs the line between digital and physical retail. The store delivers a shopping journey that is frictionless, intuitive, and fully personalized.”

The new EASE store incorporates cutting-edge AI technology, including machine learning, smart shelves, robotics, and trade-in machines. Its advanced features—such as FastPass, biometric entry, and pre-authorized payments via the e& UAE app—enhance the overall customer experience. Shoppers can explore and purchase a range of products and services, including mobile devices, accessories, and trade-ins, all while enjoying a self-service checkout system for ultimate convenience. Facial recognition technology further streamlines the process.

Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, emphasized the company’s transformative approach: “Our EASE store at Dubai Mall demonstrates how AI and advanced technology can elevate retail to new heights. By leveraging AI-driven insights and focusing on the customer experience, we are simplifying the shopping journey and redefining the future of retail.”

Customers can now use Apple Pay and Samsung Pay through the e& UAE app for easy payments. Additionally, the store features a self-assisted station (SAS) for quick purchases and delivery options.

Located on the second floor of Dubai Mall, the EASE store is set to redefine shopping by merging AI innovation with retail, offering a futuristic, hassle-free experience in the world’s most visited mall.
