Hisham Tolba, Sales Manager, MEA, says AOC has immediate and great plans for the region

TECHx: ICT Cairo is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, what message do you have for them and what expectations do you have from the EGYPT market?

Hisham: Heartiest congratulations to ICT Cairo from Team AOC, they always put up a great show year on year and we hope to see them grow. Egypt is a great place to strengthen existing business relations and make new ones on the go. Things are moving at a great pace in Egypt and we have immediate and great plans for the region. Exhibitions like these are a great confidence booster for brands especially after tough times we have all seen in the last couple of years. AOC extends its best wishes to the ICT Cairo team for the show.

TECHx: Africa region is huge in terms of opportunities, how is AOC tapping this market and what plans do you have in the region?

Hisham: Yes, Africa is a potential market for any brand I would say and when it comes to AOC, it is a brilliant market. We have already invested in the region heavily and have tapped the markets in major countries like Kenya, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Tunisia and Morocco. We definitely want to expand in the region further in the year 2022 and the plans are already in place. With our wider range of products in the gaming, non-gaming and Signage segment, we are more than equipped to meet demands of customers in the regions. AOC was ranked #1 in the gaming segment last year and we plan to keep up the goal next year too. Of course we are innovating to a great extent and year on year and that’s showing in the results as well. With our consumer and business line-ups, we are happy to be present in the region and we are looking forward to growing more in 2022.

TECHx: What trends do you see in the African Region for Gaming Industry, what is AOC offering to the gamers here and which countries are you focusing on in the continent?

Hisham: The Gaming industry has seen exponential growth in the last couple of years and we have been on top of it to provide the best of products for customers. AOC has promoted and participated in many gaming events in North and South Africa, we had a major global tie-up with Red bull last year for Gaming competitions across many regions. But, still, there is a lot of opportunity for growth in the gaming segment. We want to actively engage the audience through some digital media activities, for reaching out to good gamers base in the region. Our latest G3 range of Gaming monitors come with the latest innovative technologies, which will surely attract more gamers and in-turn customers.

TECHx: Channel partners play an important role in brand penetration, is AOC looking for new partners in the region and what kind of benefits are you offering for partners?

Hisham: We are nothing without the love and support of our partners, we have and will always continue to appreciate and honor them. Yes, AOC has taken onboard new partners, it’s a journey of growing together and succeeding together. With our powerful range of monitors, and now Signage displays with screen sizes up to 85 inches, we have generated keen interest in the brand. AOC has developed a diverse monitor portfolio to cater to the individual interest of the users and along with branding and marketing support which helps both our partners and the brand, we are sure of getting noticed. Our Channel partners are an extension of our team. We are proud of the bond we share, and this reflects in our sales. Our new launch is the Interactive Flat Panel Signage models available in screen sizes of 55”, 65” 75” and 85”, which is available with our distributor East Asia.
