Axis Communications announces a robust dome camera offering high resistance in corrosive environments. Ideal for applications such as marine environments and food processing facilities, it delivers outstanding image quality and forensic details in superior 4K resolution—even in the harshest weather and environments.

AXIS Q3538-SLVE is protected by marine-grade stainless steel (SS 316L), which is DNV-certified and resistant to corrosion from seawater and cleaning agents. It has an IR-shielded dome with OptimizedIR to reduce IR reflections from rain and snow. Additionally, in difficult lighting or near darkness, Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR give genuine colours and excellent detail.

The advanced camera comes equipped with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) which enhances its processing and storage capabilities, enabling the collection and analysis of more data at the edge. The AXIS Object Analytics feature enables the camera to detect and categorize humans and various types of vehicles, based on specific requirements. Furthermore, the ACAP version 4 support allows for custom-made applications based on edge deep learning, offered by Axis and its partners, to be added to the system, increasing its value.

Key features include:

• Ideal for corrosive and harsh conditions

• Marine-grade stainless steel casing

• Outstanding image quality in 4K

• Support for analytics with deep learning

• Axis Edge Vault

This top-of-the-line camera is simple to set up, maintain, and use—ideal for outlying areas. A dependable power supply is ensured via redundant power to protect the system. Additionally, Zipstream with H.264/H.265 dramatically lowers bandwidth and storage needs.
