Avanade an alliance venture of Accenture and Microsoft to open in UAE

Avanade, an alliance venture of Accenture and Microsoft, announced the opening in the UAE with headquarters in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Adriano Neves, the company’s Sales, Industry, and Client Relationships Lead in Brazil, has been named to lead the company’s newest entity and will relocate from So Paulo to Dubai.

Incorporated in 2000 by Accenture and Microsoft, Avanade now employs 49,000 people worldwide who focus on the Microsoft ecosystem, delivering technology and consulting experience to clients in industries such as financial services, oil and gas, and government services. The establishment of Avanade in the United Arab Emirates marks the company’s 26th nation location in its increasing global reach.

Avanade will collaborate with Accenture to assist clients in the UAE create extraordinary experiences, develop operational resilience, and rethink new business models, leveraging its global delivery network, technical depth, and Microsoft-focused expertise. Accenture and Avanade were jointly acknowledged as a leader in the newly published “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Microsoft Implementation Services 2021 Vendor Assessment” based on present capabilities and future strategies. Accenture and Avanade have won Microsoft Global Alliance SI Partner of the Year 16 times, the most of any partner.
