Axis Communications introduces the AXIS D4100-E Network Strobe Siren, the world’s first network strobe siren that uses light and sound to deter intruders, ensure on-site safety, and improve operational efficiency. The device, which can be integrated via VAPIX, MQTT, or SIP, comes with a variety of light and sound patterns to ensure the appropriate level of protection for specific environments.

This fully networked product, built on the open Axis platform, can be connected to any Axis device, Axis VMS, or third-party VMS to issue warnings and notifications via strobe lighting and/or siren alarms. It can, for example, be used for perimeter security alongside thermal and/or radar cameras. Alternatively, a license plate recognition (LPR) camera can be used to improve parking entrance management.

Different configurations with white and RGBA color lighting and pre-configured sounds are possible. To increase the level of deterrence, this highly customizable product can be linked to an Axis audio solution with live or pre-recorded announcements. Furthermore, a simple, web-based interface makes it simple to configure one device and then copy and deploy the configuration to other devices on the system.
