Bedayat, the business incubator located in The Sustainable City – Dubai, has partnered with the Hamdan Innovation Incubator (Hi2), an initiative by the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Dubai SME), to launch the Emirati Tech Founder Programme. This new accelerator aims to empower Emirati tech entrepreneurs to develop sustainable solutions addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges. The programme was launched at the SEE Institute, the region’s first net-zero emissions building, reinforcing its dedication to sustainability and innovation.
The Emirati Tech Founder Programme offers a robust platform for aspiring Emirati entrepreneurs, providing the tools, insights, and support needed to turn innovative ideas into successful, tech-driven businesses. This initiative is closely aligned with Dubai’s vision of fostering sustainability and innovation in the region.
Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Dubai SME, emphasized, “Under the leadership of our visionary rulers, Dubai SME is committed to positioning Dubai as a global hub for innovation and technology. The eight-week programme includes specialized workshops, mentorship, and access to collaborative workspaces. Bedayat, certified by Dubai SME, is focused on sustainable startups and provides a living lab within The Sustainable City for entrepreneurs to test and grow their business ideas.
